on November 6, 2005Yes, this is pretty much your standard fair, underdog team needs money, goes on a national challenge to win the championship.
Only, the game in question here is dodgeball. It's a good movie that really manages to poke fun at the genre, and sports in general. I enjoyed it enough, and those that like slapstick comedy will have an almost unbroken 92 minutes of joy. I know it sounds like a completely silly and stupid concept, but it's pulled off pretty well, and I recommend catching it when it comes on TV, if nothing else.
