Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban Release Year: 2004 Average Rating: Last Reviewed On: January 15, 2005 (by Scott) (DVD version) Scott's Review: on January 15, 2005 Continuing in the proud tradition of Harry Potter, we follow his third year at Hogwarts as he continues to learn about magic and fight the good fight. While I've read the book, it's been a while, so I can't comment too much on how faithful the adaptation is. Like the other movies, it seems to be a bit simplified, but much like the book, it's a darker story than the previous two. Beyond that, there's not really much to say about these movies. By now, you've made up your mind on Harry Potter, and this movie won't really change it. It's a good movie, but doesn't do much to change the line of movies. -- Scott and Michelle |
