on July 22, 2004I'm really wary of Adam Sandler movies now. He's done a few really good movies, but for the most part, much of his humor is too low brow for my tastes.
When I first started 50 First Dates, the opening sequence had me really worried that I was in for one of his lower-brow movies. I was surprised when the opening credits rolled and the movie's tone seemed to change. It turned into a cute little romantic comedy.
Though, if I hadn't seen this movie before when it was called Wedding Singer, I would have probably enjoyed it more.
