Scott's Review:
2 out of 5 stars on May 2, 2004

This movie proves on thing to me, I didn't grow up with movies from the '60s. Compared to the 2001 remake, this was very boring to me. The movie spends much too long in the beginning developing the cookie-cutter characters, and then manages to spend about five minutes actually explaining the heist.

We're then treated to nearly forty-five minutes watching the setup of the crime, which is done in the most boring, uninteresting way possible. The same sort of only-mildly interesting escapades continue on through to the end of the movie.

I'll be the first to admit that I'm probably missing the point of the movie. I didn't grow up with the 'Rat Pack', so I really don't know what I'm seeing in the actors. That and I'm comparing the movie to its 2001 remake, which is of course a much more action packed flick.
