Based on the true story of Frank Abagnale Jr., Catch Me If You Can follows Frank and Stan Redding, the FBI agent trying to capture Frank, as he cons his way through several different jobs.

I felt DiCaprio was a bit flat as the lead character; I never got a good feeling why he was so intent on playing through all of these jobs, just some vague sense that he was doing it to impress his father. On the other hand, I loved watching Tom Hanks play the FBI agent hot on his tail. The end result, even given DiCaprio's somewhat flat character was really entertaining to watch. It's a great movie to observe, and interesting enough that I picked up Abagnale's book to see what the real story behind his life is.
