I was really surprised by this movie. I completely expected it to be a flop, but it wasn't. The story is extremely silly. An agent from the FBI (Agent Sympathy) is sent to get Rocky and Bullwinkle from the cartoon to help out in the real world with Natasha and Boris turn up in the real world with a dastardly plan to get power. Oh, the Agent gets our intrepid heroes into the real world by having the Rocky and Bullwinkle movie "Green Lighted".

That should give you some idea of the tongue in check attitude of this movie. If it has you groaning, then it's done its job. Just like the word-play from the cartoon series, this movie never really takes itself too seriously, and manages to be really funny all the time. Complete with plenty of in-jokes (John Goodman's character's response to sometime unbelievable: "Yeah right, and I'm John Goodman") that are actually funny.

This movie really got panned by the critics, but if you can enjoy a silly, light-hearted, punny movie, than this is for you.
