Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels Release Year: 1998 Average Rating: Last Reviewed On: September 8, 2002 (by Scott) Scott's Review: on September 8, 2002 This is one bizarre movie. It opens with a high stakes card game gone wrong, and the rest is about a series of schemes, robberies, and counter-schemes of various parties to get the money back before a week deadline is up. It can be intensely difficult to follow at times, but it's enjoyable nevertheless. It's a dark comedy done in the same vain as Pulp Fiction, only not nearly as violent. I enjoyed this movie, and if you have a couple of hours to pay attention to it, I recommend it. -- Scott and Michelle |
