This is an extremely refreshing comedy. It's the story of a small Australian city that played a major role in the Apollo missions (and continues to support NASA missions to this day) by having the largest satellite dish in the southern hemisphere.

The technical story itself is interesting, but the movie is fun. It presents a cute look at the cultural differences between Australia and America using some very believable characters. Missing is the over-the-top dramatization such as Paul Hogan. The result is a very cute little comedy that has a fascinating story as its backdrop.

Using Patrick Warburton (the 'Tick') as the American NASA element was a nice touch, in my opinion. While he had a few serious lines in the movie, it's hard to take anything he says as anything other than sarcasm, which fits right in with the other characters.

All in all, I highly recommend this movie.
