This starts off as a great movie. Something I can really get behind. It starts off in a future world that's extremely well thought out. Add an amazing element, the "pre-cogs", and we have a fascinating story. What happens when you find out that you're going to commit a murder?

We then take a tour through the futuristic society, thanks to the main character running from the police. Things are starting to turn sour, we start having forced comedic moments, and some minor plot issues.

Then the main story element disappears, and it seems to turn into a regular bad-guy versus bad-cop movie. Major plot holes come about, and things just get weird.

I liked the movie, for the most part, so I recommend seeing it. Since I don't want to spoil it, I won't go into my problems with the movie. It did remind me of A.I., though. It seemed to have a great script, but started to fall apart near the end when it stopped exploring human issues, and started exploring sci-fi issues that it created in the first half, more like a formulaic mystery than a well though out science fiction movie.
