Scott's Review:
3 out of 5 stars on July 5, 2002

Like many of Jackie Chan's movie, this one has a nearly incomprehensible plot, terrible voice dubbing. It is, nevertheless, a really fun movie. The fight sequences in this movie are, in my mind at least, superior to the ones in the later Hollywood flicks.

The story is cute, and Chan's comedic talents really play out well in this movie. The fight sequences are superbly done. My only real let down with some of the Martial Arts was the apparent use of wires. In my mind, at least, Chan's style comes off very well without the use of special effects. Though, once I got myself over the bit of a mental hang-up, it really does add to the movie and the fun.

I have no problem recommending this movie, but I'll be the first to admit, it can be difficult to get into the right mood to properly enjoy it.
