This is a great ride, just like the first Rush Hour. It's basically your classic Jackie Chan picture, the inexplicable plot, but with lots of fun Martial Arts, and great comedy bits. The chemistry between Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker is good, and well played out in this movie just like it was in the first one. Even Tucker had a few fun action sequences.

The only real disappointment with this movie is some of the more unbelievable scenes were rather, well, unbelievable. It's obvious for at least a couple of scenes that a blue screen is used. Chan's other flicks never used a blue screen, and it showed, but the close-up shots of Chan and Tucker in the climatic jump scene just looked so fake it was a bit of a jolt from the rest of the movie.

Blue screen nonsense aside, it's still a very fun, fast, and enjoyable movie. Even if you dislike Chris Tucker as much as I generally do.

I didn't think i'd like Jackie Chan the first time I was introduced to him a few years ago . I'm not really into martial arts movies. But Jackie Chan is so different, it's hard not to like the guy. He is amazing at what he does, not to mention that he really does it, he doesn't use special effects, anything you see him do in a movie, he really does, which in itself is amazing. Not only that, but he incorporates comedy into his style in a way that it's not like your just watching martial arts. You're watching a comedian. And a brilliant one at that.

Rush hour was a good movie. Chris Tucker got on my nerves a bit. The token smart ass cracking black sidekick. But in Rush Hour 2, I have come to like him much more. Not sure why, but he just doesn't annoy me as much as he used too.

The movie is at least as good as the first one. And that's a rare thing in the movie industry. I'm, not a big fan of sequels, But I think the Rush Hour franchise can easily be the new Lethal Weapon movies.

I haven't used this term since the 80's, but Jackie Chan just rules.
