I was really impressed with this movie. First off, it's rather cool to see the improvements in animation that Pixar has done. The fur on the main character looked absolutely amazing.

That aside, it was a very funny movie. Once the beginning credits finished, and the movie started, I think I was continuously laughing. It was really funny, even the little kid that sneaks into the monster's world was well done. All in all, it's a great movie that I think adults and children alike will enjoy, though the especially young ones might be a bit scared once ore twice.

Oh, and the little short before the movie "One for the Birds" was very good as well. All in all, I look forward to seeing this movie again.

Hard not to enjoy this movie. I've been looking forward to seeing it ever since I saw the first preview when we went to see Men In Black. So i've been waiting a while. I have loved everything Pixar has done so far. From Toy Story, to A Bug's Life, to Monsters Inc, to the little prelude aniumations they have attached to their movies.

I can't wait for this to come out on DVD. I hope they add all kinds of extras like they did for Toy Story. The movie itself just keeps you laughing the whole time. Hilarious characters, great story, the little girl that accidentally gets into the monsters world is over the top cutsie and comical, but in a good way. Not in that typical-of-late-Disney over the top cutsie stuff that makes you want to vomit your popcorn.

And true to form, we saw the movie the day before they added the outtakes to the end of it in the theater, so we'll have to wait for the DVD for those, but no biggie.

I don't know if Monsters Inc. is better then Toy Story or not, probably, but it's hard to say. It's the same kind of fun that has in-jokes for both kids and adults alike, and for me at least, Monsters Inc. may have an edge like i'm sure it does for many of us who know that when we were little, the Monsters really did exist. :-)
