This story is basically the tale of a felon, who when learning that his partners haven't saved the money they stole for him comes up with a brilliant plane. To go on a murdering rampage, steal money, and claim he was insane at the time.

Putting aside the problems I have with the plot. I generally don't like plots that either glorify criminals, or find make loopholes in the law look overly simple to sneak through; I still didn't like the movie because of its ending.

Warning, there are spoilers ahead.

The ending was just too much. The movie did a reasonable job really of keeping itself within the bounds of reality. However, the ending just felt way too Hollywood and like it belonged in a summer blockbuster popcorn flick. The killer ends up butting heads with a fire official, and after a crazy twisted series of events, the good guy unloads a clip in the bad guy, and walks away the hero. It was just ludicrous, felt really out of place, and really ruined my chances of enjoying this movie, unfortunately.
