Glengarry Glen Ross is a very simple story, wonderfully acted. It's the tale of a salesman competition to get. First prize is a new car, second prize is a knife set, and for third prize you get fired. It's never perfectly clear what the characters are actually selling, obviously it's expensive, and probably land.

In the end it comes down to a story of salesmen and conmen, and the tortured life they have to live to make ends meet. Desperation creeps in, and you being to see how their minds work, and watch their world fall apart. All in a days work.

This is defiantly a dialog driven movie. The only action worth noting takes place off camera. It's a very well done classic tragedy.
