on May 11, 2001How bad could meeting your girlfriend's or boyfriend's parents go? This movie is the answer.
It's a simple enough plot, but very well pulled off. The main character's get involved in a complex set of affairs, that, while far-fetched, actually seem plausible. Enjoyable fair, if only watched once. I've got to imagine this movie doesn't have much replay value, since most of the gags don't work if you know what's going to happen next.

on June 4, 2001While I watched this movie, I kept thinking to myself, I have a "meet the parents" story that's far more horrifying then anything that happened to this guy.
But I won't go into it here. ;-)
