on November 26, 2000The Flintstones are back. This is actually a prequel to the other movie. I bet you didn't know there was enough plot in the Flintstones to warrant a prequel, did you?
At any rate, despite this happening before the first movie, Gazoo makes his appearance in this movie, to study the mating habits of humans.
I felt they got the characters dead on in this movie. I couldn't tell, however, how much of the back story was being made up, since I don't recall the series well enough to know if there were any flash backs, or mentions of how Fred and Barney meet their wives.
The plot itself was paper thin, but fun nevertheless. This was an enjoyable movie, defiantly better than the first.
