on October 7, 2000I read this book more out of curiosity than anything else. It's a very interesting attempt to show a employer how important technology can be to their business. Because of my career choice I'm most likely spoiled in this regard, but nothing in this book seemed revolutionary, just taking the best current business practices to their logical next level.
Much of the book seemed to be individual stories of success. While interesting, they seemed to make the book drag on a bit for me. Perhaps to an employer who isn't convinced of some idea, the stories and numbers will convince them, but to me, it just seemed to make the book drag on a bit.
An interesting read if you're an employer of a large company, perhaps. But for us normal folk, I'm not sure it's worth much, yet.
