Almost Famous is about an young man's chance in life to write a story for Rolling Stone, for an up and coming band, Stillwater.

It's a very well told story, apparently semi-autobiographical. I've got to imagine the real story isn't quite as interesting as what was portrayed, but nevertheless, it's pulled of very well. In the end, I found myself caring what happened to the characters, and while I undoubtedly didn't get all of the music jokes, there was plenty of humor in the movie for us non-music-buffs.

All in all, a good story, well told and acted. Highly recommended.
