on August 13, 2000I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. It was a fun ride, full of shallow, but cute and loveable characters. The religious issues are completely distorted, mixing Christianity and Norse mythology, and who knows what else. But the end result is a very humorous movie.
Don't get me wrong, if you're an overly religious person, you'll probably be insulted by the movie at some point, but if you can get past that, and just enjoy the movie, it's well worth it.
What's more, is as cynical about movies that I've become, I really don't have any complaints about this one. Even the mixing of religions is all in good fun. It's just a good, make you smile and laugh movie.
