This is just a standard horror movie.

There's nothing exceptional at all about it. Yeah, the special effects are cool. But they get boring after about ten minutes of the main character being invisible.

From there on out, it's a standard horror flick. It was entirely predictable, and at any point they fell into anything scientific, I felt as if the scriptwriters for Star Trek were giving them a hand with the "techno-babble". As a matter of fact, the explanation for how the invisibility was possible is the same explanation ("quantum phase shift") that Star Trek: Voyager used in an episode a few seasons ago.

In the end, I greatly preferred the Star Trek episode, even though I didn't particularly care for it. Wait for the movie on DVD or Tape, that way you can see the special effects, and not have to suffer through the rest of the movie.
