This album is nothing but filler to kill time between yet another singer change. This time from Sammy Hagar, to Gary Cherone, who, to be honest, I was very excited to hear the new music with. I loved Gary with Extreme, and thought he was a perfect fit into VH.

"Best of" is inappropriatly named IMHO. I would have changed it drastically if I had been in charge of the track listing, but that said, 2 tracks do come to mind as total standouts, and yes, it's the new tracks with David Lee Roth. "Me Wise Magic" is magic. Not since the early days has a VH song sent chills down my spine. Me Wise Magic accomplishes this task nicely. I may even venture to say that it might just be one of the all time best songs they have ever done. If there was any question that DLR and VH still could do it, this song must put that to rest. The other DLR track however, leaves a little to be desired. It isn't bad, but compared to Me Wise Magic, it just doesn't hold up as well. but it's still a great song. I hope DLR gets back with the band now that they are currently singerless. And I hope they take over the world again. :-)
