I was 9 years old, and I was just amazed when I first heard it. You can put almost any rock album against this one and it still hold up now, 22 years later (has it really been that long?). Van Halen totally reinvented rock and roll with this one album, and things just haven't been the same since. I'll admit this isn't my favorite VH album, but no one can deny it's place in rock and roll history as it completely set the tone of rock and roll for the decade that was to follow.. -- Scott and Michelle
