Clarke Average Rating: Last Reviewed On: June 20, 2000 (by Scott) Scott's Review: on June 20, 2000 This is another book that I read when I was younger, and like the others, I remember it a bit differently. But at least, with this one, there's an easy explanation, I had confused much of the book 2001, with the movie 2001. They are really two different animals, who happen to share some similarities. This story is an amazing read. It's one of my favorite stories, many because of how well it stretches across time, all without boring you (as most say the movie does), but rather, keeps you very focused on the story. There have been few books that I've read that I've had as much trouble putting down, or willingness to accept that it must come to an end. Arthur Clarke defiantly knew how to keep my interest. I plan to read the three books that followed this one, hopefully they'll be as engrossing. -- Scott and Michelle
