This is a collection of short stories, and from what I've read about this book online, this is what most people tend to remember Heinlein for. I can see why. The story "By His Bootstraps" was one of the most thought provoking stories that I've ever read involving time travel. It was amazing, even though shortly through the story it was obvious how it had to turn out. My second favorite story from this collection is probably "Goldfish Bowl." This story is told beautifully, and it keeps you guessing. Indeed, you're trying to figure out what's happening along with the main characters, and in the end, it's anybody's guess. The only thing that bothers me about these stories is they way Heinlein always seems to end his works. I can't quite place my finger on it, but it always seems to me that something is left incomplete, some major issue left unresolved. Once you get over that, however, these all are very good reads.
