Though, some of the ways he fits together his universe are simple ingenious, much of the book felt contrived, as if the characters were only interested in pushing their stories along. I suppose some consider it part of the charm of the book, but for me, the anti-climatic nature of the ruler of the universe was a bit boring. I have to admit, I love the Restaurant itself though, it's a perfect example of what our culture will ultimately turn into if it doesn't change directions, very well done. -- Scott and Michelle
