Of the Heinlein works that I've read so far, this is by far the most plausible. It seems to be only a few years away and even though some of the science in it is obviously incorrect, though extremely believable. Maybe because it doesn't seem to rely on technology too much or perhaps because politics is more of a back player than the other books has something to do with why I liked this. In the end, I only had one question (what if the slugs could adapt to look like human skin?), if he had attempted to even touch that I think it would be a perfect book. As it is, it's a great book, even if I feel that it borrows the basic plot from his other works.
