And that just makes it all the better. Basically, it's a time travel movie. The future earth, now rendered uninhabitable by a virus, is sending back convicts to the past to try and track down information on the virus. It deals with some of the subtlety of time travel, and manages to present a very non-linear piece. Even delving into what it would do to one's mind if you were thrown into two completely different realities. And, unlike a lot of other science fiction movies, the science of time travel is almost completely ignored, which, in my opinion, is a good thing, as it would only get in the way of the story. It's very well told, and the ending is great, especially if you try to figure it out for yourself, without help from the commentary. -- Scott and Michelle
