Star Trek Invasion! #4 The Final Fury Author: David A. This book was a good read though, which was a nice change. I did feel as if the characters were a little off from the television show, but that might be due to the timing of the book, it's supposed to have happened shortly after Voyager lands in the delta quadrant. My only real gripe with it is the obvious end. In the second half of the book, it becomes apparent that one of two people will die. The reason they picked, however, was silly, it was the standard triage, which do we save and which do we let die scenario. If there's anything I gathered from the last book, Starfleet's wondrous stasis fields render this scenario irrelevant. It would have been nice if the stasis fields were at lest mentioned, though I suppose this book was good, because it didn't fall into the techno babble trap of the previous one. -- Scott and Michelle |
