Despite the name, this story has nothing to do with the Apollo missions. Rather, this is a book about the Nazi's near the end of World War 2. It's an interesting story, told from the point of view of a Nazi commander. Perhaps that was it's only saving grace for me, was the other side aspect of the story. It's not often that you see a well done story, that isn't a blatant attempt to further the propaganda that the US and its allies produced, told from the perspective of the Nazis'. The story itself is based at least partly on true events about an attempt to abduct Winston Churchill near the end of the war. It's a fascinating story about how close they came, and yet how far they were.
