Cold Fall Author: John E. Gardner Average Rating: Last Reviewed On: January 25, 2000 (by Scott) (Audible version) Scott's Review: on January 25, 2000 This is a fun journey through James Bond's life. At first I thought James Bond on paper would be a boring read, at best, but this turned out to be a rather enjoyable story. This book doesn't rely as heavily on action as the movies do, but seems to rely more on dime novel romance. At times, the speed and deepness that Bond falls in love with women (only to be hurt later, of course) is just amazing, and a bit unbelievable. The book takes a few twists and turns, but nothing extraordinary. In the end, it's a fun ride, but not really worth it. -- Scott and Michelle |
