Got Pink?

So my cell phone has been dying a pretty quick death lately. It began randomly dropping calls for no reason. You'd be talking, then all of a sudden it would just end the call. Very irritating. So, as an early Christmas present, Scott surprised me last night with a cool new Razr V3! It's a really slick phone. Very thin, nice screen, fun color. I even like the keypad, it's sooo much easier to use then my last phone with it's teeny tiny buttons you could barely read. Text messaging was such a pain, but no more!. I've only had it for not even an entire day yet, but my sister has already claimed that it sounds much better then my old phone did. Very nice upgrade. :)

White Stuff Everywhere!

See? We got more snow. Told ya it was coming. We got about 4". My sister who lives north a bit, said she got about a foot earlier in the day, so we didn't get nearly that much, but it was still enough to strand Scott at work for most of the evening. Though he did finally decide to venture home around 1am once the roads were mostly clear of traffic jams. He got as far as the exit to our city and then saw cars everywhere on the road he had to take. He stopped, not wanting to chance it, got something to eat, and tried to get a hotel (a mere 7 miles from home!) , but they were all booked up with other stranded motorists. We found an alternate route for him to try, and he did eventually make it home safe and sound. But what a night! This area just freaks out and closes down when this kind of thing happens. Guess that's what you get when you live in such a hilly area.

What We Call a Blizzard.

Okay, so here in the pacific northwest, we're admittedly weenies when it comes to snow, we get it so rarely, but a couple hours ago it started snowing, heavily, so everything's coated now, and of course this started just in time for rush hour so the roads are jammed, and Scott's still stuck at work, probably for the entire night! How much does THAT suck? And to top that off, it was thunder and lightening for a while, something i've been afraid of my whole life. It's not so bad when someone is around, but when i'm alone like I am now, I just want to run and hide from it. But at least that's stopped. However the snow hasn't. It's gonna be a long night I fear..

Let it Slush, Let it Slush, Let it Slush!

So we got our first snow of the year last night. It happened at night so we didn't get great pictures of it, but we had both upgraded our cameras, so we went out and played for a bit, took some pics, and made a little snowman. More snow is supposed to be coming, so bring it on! Weeeeee!!!
