*BuRp!*

Well, we had a good Thanksgiving. We made our turkey with the same Alton Brown recipe we've been using for the last 4 or 5 years now ( found here ), and it's always a big success. The recipe contradicts every well known way of making a turkey, but I doubt you'll make a tastier one without it. (I don't think we have a picture of it this year. I know I forgot to take one, but if Scott did, i'll post it later). We then took the turkey over to family's and had a nice meal. I didn't really stuff myself like you're supposed to on Thanksgiving, but I did get full, a bit sooner then I expected actually. In fact, had everyone not cleaned up so quickly, I might have had some more, but in the end it's probably best I didn't. We drank a $100 bottle of wine (wish I could appreciate the difference between a $100 bottle, and a $6 bottle, but I just can't) and we played Guesstures, which is basically Charades with a time limit. The team I was on lost badly, which is no surprise, Charades is hard! I mean, how would YOU do "All", or "Lingerie"?

But we had a fun time. Goofed around alot, stuffed ourselves, and enjoyed seeing family we don't get to see enough anymore. But now it's time to get back to our regular scheduled festivities, which include preparing the house for a tree, and finishing up Christmas shopping.
